Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 17 October 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone who uses the FastPing website, dashboard, API, status pages and free tools. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Monitor only what you are allowed to
You may only create Monitors, run scans and use alerting for websites, servers, domains, IP addresses and game servers that you own or administer, or that you have explicit permission to monitor. Security exposure scans are only available for domains whose ownership you have verified.
2. Prohibited uses
You must not use FastPing to:
- attack, overload, stress-test or disrupt any system, including denial-of-service attacks or any attempt to use FastPing as a traffic amplifier;
- scan, probe or map networks or systems you are not authorised to test, or look for vulnerabilities in third-party systems;
- access or attempt to access private networks, internal services or cloud metadata endpoints through our infrastructure;
- circumvent rate limits, plan limits, domain verification or other technical restrictions, or create multiple free accounts to avoid paying;
- publish on status pages any content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, misleading, hateful or that impersonates another person or organisation;
- send unsolicited messages through alert channels, or configure alerts to addresses or chats without the recipient's permission;
- resell, sublicense or provide the Service to third parties as your own product without our written agreement (agencies may manage monitoring for their own clients);
- break any law of the United Arab Emirates or of the country where you are located, including laws on cybercrime, data protection and telecommunications.
3. Free tools
The free tools are for occasional manual diagnostics. Automated or bulk use is not allowed, and the tools are rate limited. For automated checks, create Monitors or use the API.
4. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected breaches and remove content, pause Monitors, revoke API keys, or suspend or close accounts that breach this policy, with notice where reasonably possible. Where required by law, we may report illegal activity to the competent authorities.
5. Reporting abuse
If you believe FastPing is being used to target your systems or is otherwise being misused, contact support@fastping.app or use the contact form with the topic "Report abuse", including the IP addresses, times and details involved. Our monitoring requests identify themselves with the user agent FastPing-Monitor/1.0.
